Offset Emissions with REDD+
Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation

When you purchase REDD+ offsets from Wildlife Works, you are purchasing Verified Emission Reductions that preserve threatened forests, protect endangered wildlife, and uplift forest communities.

When you place your order of REDD+ offsets/VERs, the offsets will be retired on your behalf. You will receive a certificate and a record of the VER serial numbers that were retired. If you have any questions, please Wildlife Works at support@wildlifeworks.com

Furthermore, traveling with Green-Safari raises funds for a small reforestation project adjacent to the Buffalo Camp, Tsavo East Kenya. Every tree planted counts.

The Coast

The north Kenyan coast line is an idyllic tropical paradise - with long sandy beaches for sunset walks or morning runs. The area is renowned for the beauty and importance of the delicate and rare ecosystems such as the Arabuko Sokoke Forest, the Gede ruins and the mangroves in Watamu - best seen by Dhow. Go on an unforgettable Safari Blue on a glass bottom boat, go snorkeling in the marine park or try your hand at fishing!

Coral Key Resort, the beach and the room

The Coral Key resort offers a range of hospitality solutions, each with its own personality and characteristics. An extraordinary assortment of facilities is on offer for people who look for relaxation and privacy and for the more active travelers who thirst for entertainment and social contact. The 150 bedrooms are all furnished in an elegant African style, with splendid verandas providing guests with wonderful views of the swimming-pool or the sea. The Coral Key Beach Resort manages to maintain its magical African atmosphere while offering European standard service.

A number of sporting activities and facilities are on offer: two tennis courts, a five-a-side football pitch, seven swimming-pools, beach volleyball, the coast’s only free-climbing wall (10 meters). On request, guests can enjoy deep-sea fishing trips, a course of PADI diving or single immersions. Then there is the program of daytime and night-time entertainment, the beauty farm, an Internet point, the boutique, the TV room with satellite connection and a conference hall.

The Coral Key Beach Resort is also renowned for its food and eateries – three restaurants, a lounge bar, a bar on the beach and a smoothie bar. The obvious culinary attraction in this area is seafood, and there is plenty available, with excellent fish, crabs, lobster, oysters and more. There is also an abundance of fresh tropical fruits and vegetables, peanuts, cashews and wild honey.
